Winnipeg Santa Claus Parade

   It is with great excitement and enthusiasm that MPUE announces that the English-Ukrainian Bilingual Program (EUBP) participated in WInnipeg's Santa Claus Parade for a second year.

We would like to thank you for coming out and volunteering for the 100th Annual Santa Claus Parade. What a wonderful evening we had with 10's of thousands of children and adults lining the parade route. Thank you for having your children participate and helping to hand out the candy and colouring pages to the children. We had just under 130 people walking with our float.

 A special thank you to those who helped prepare the float for the parade: Mary Jane Wasney (our favourite mascot), Bev Early, Audrey Zamonsky, Susan Zuk, James Rogowsky, Vitaliy Yatsevych, Olexandra Melnychuk, Don Dubik, Barb Thiessen, Nataliya Sovinska, Volodymyr Sovinskyy, Laurie Gingera, Daryle Malchuk, and Bill Zuk
