Santa Claus Parade 2010

Lighting Up the Night! What a fun evening!

For a third year in a row, MPUE entered our newly designed Snow Queen Float into the 101 Annual Manitoba Hydro JayCees Santa Claus Parade. Over 120 English-Ukrainain Bilingual Program (EUBP) students, parents, grandparents, and other relatives representing: Ralph Brown, R. F. Morrison, Springfield Heights, Chief Peguis, Bernie Wolfe, Oakbank, East Selkirk Middle and Happy Thought Schools joined in the fun or participating in this traditional Winnipeg event.

We would like to thank all those who volunteered to walk along with our float and with our mascot Petrusia Perogy. Thank you for having your children participate and helping to hand out candy and colouring contest pages to the children.

 A special thank you to those who helped prepare the float for the parade: Gerry & Mary Jane Wasney, Vitaliy & Lesia Yatsevych, Nataliya Sovinska and Volodymyr Sovinskyy, Susan Zuk, James Rogowsky, Barb Thiessen and Bill Zuk.
