2008 Winnipeg Santa Claus Parade

MPUE Float - Community Contest Winner

Over 122 parents and children representing various EUBP schools walked along the parade route and had a wonderful time singing Ukrainian Christmas carols, and giving away goodies to the crowds.  It was a crisp evening, and everyone's hearts were filled with warmth and the spirit of the Christmas season.  Thank you to all the parents, children and volunteers for who participated. MPUE is very proud to share photos of our award winning float in this years parade and acknowledge our volunteers.

We would like to sincerely thank all the volunteers who dedicated their time in building our float. We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to Bill Zuk, Volodymyr Sovinsky, Vitaly Yatsevych, Matthew Barnbrook, James Rogowsky, Danylo Dubik and Olexandra Melnychuk who worked tirelessly for two weeks straight to make sure the float was constructed and completed.  A special thank you to Jerry's Concrete in East St. Paul for allowing us to use their facility for construction. And we haven't forgotten the many volunteers who were able to dedicate some time to come out and help with the building, decorating and completion of the float.  We are very greatful and thankful to have such a wonderful group be a part of this great event.
